What is your attendance policy?

Associates are expected to be on time and present for work every day an assignment has been accepted. It is your responsibility to inform the branch of any tardiness or absence from work. This is vital as our customers rely on us to show up on time and get the job done.

Repeated attendance incidents, as defined below, within a six-month period may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

ATTENDANCE INCIDENTS

  • Incomplete Shift – Arriving late to an assignment or leaving before the job is completed.
  • Cancellations – Not reporting for work after accepting an assignment, and the notification is given more than 24 hours before the job start time. Note: Three cancellations within a 30-day period will result in one attendance incident.
  • Absence – Not reporting for work after accepting an assignment, and the notification is given less than 24 hours before the job start time.
  • Late Call Off – Calling off an assignment less than 4 hours before the start time.
  • No Call No Show – Being absent without informing your local PeopleReady team.

DISCIPLINARY ACTION

  • 1st Attendance Incident: 7-calendar-day suspension
  • 2nd Attendance Incident: 30-calendar-day suspension
  • 3rd Attendance Incident: 6-month suspension

To avoid attendance incidents and disciplinary action, please only accept assignments you are committed to working.
