What is a job scam?

Job scams can look very convincing, as scammers may try to impersonate real companies to collect personal information or money. This may be someone pretending to be a recruiter for PeopleReady contacting you about a job opening, or someone attempting to contact you by posting a fake job advertisement on behalf of a PeopleReady customer.
